Bob Dylan Curtain Call 1966 Poster | Vintage Seattle Concert
A fascinating piece of Bob Dylan’s 1966 touring history, this vintage concert program design dates from his March 25, 1966 appearance in Seattle, Washington. Presented by Northwest Releasing Corporation, the wonderfully minimalist artwork announces simply “Bob Dylan – Friday, March 25 – Arena”, with the distinctive title “Curtain Call 1966” printed dramatically across the bottom.
The unusual black-and-white graphic features two stylised fish emerging from a repeating wave pattern, creating a wonderfully strange piece of mid-1960s concert artwork quite different from the psychedelic designs that would dominate music advertising only a year or two later.
This restored reproduction retains the beautifully understated monochrome appearance and vintage printed character of the original. A particularly interesting choice for collectors of Bob Dylan memorabilia, 1960s concert posters, American folk-rock history and Seattle music ephemera, and striking wall art for a music room, record room, studio, office or den.
