A spectacular Queen Montreal 1981 concert poster celebrating one of the band’s most celebrated live performances, staged at the Montreal Forum on 24 and 25 November 1981.

The artwork captures Freddie Mercury in an unmistakably theatrical performance pose, leaning dramatically backwards beneath powerful blue stage lights with microphone in hand. His white trousers stand out brilliantly against the almost completely black arena background.

Huge illuminated QUEEN lettering dominates the lower portion of the composition, accompanied by the words ROCK MONTREAL, while the original venue and November 1981 dates appear prominently across the top.

The Montreal performances were filmed during Queen’s 1981 tour and subsequently became widely known through the concert film Queen Rock Montreal, preserving the band during one of the defining periods of their live career.
